About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Massage Therapist to join our team at Institut Rameau d'or. As a Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for administering massage techniques to clients, assessing their needs, and developing treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer massage techniques through soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, joint pain, and lower-grade mobilizations.
  • Assess clients by conducting range of motion and muscle tests and propose treatment plans.
  • Maintain records of treatments given.
  • Massage and knead muscles and soft tissues of the body.
  • Suggest home care instructions and provide information about techniques.

Requirements:

  • Certification by a provincial or territorial association for massage therapists.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Client focus and interpersonal awareness.
  • Efficient interpersonal skills.
  • Values and ethics.

Work Environment:

This is a temporary position with 10-25 hours per week. The work setting is a day spa, and the language of work is English.
