Risk Management Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager of Operational Risk Management to join our Global Wealth and Asset Management team. As a key member of our risk management team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering an effective risk governance and management program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and implementation of the operational risk framework.
- Conduct risk and control assessments to identify key risks and controls.
- Develop and implement action plans to remediate control gaps.
- Contribute to the development of key risk indicators to track identified risks.
- Collect, review, and reconcile internal and external risk incidents/loss events.
- Support the design and execution of scenario analysis for key risks.
- Develop close partnerships with business and functional leaders to ensure key risks are properly identified, managed, and mitigated.
- Support the development and maintenance of Global Wealth & Asset Management level Risk Appetite Statements and associated metrics.
Requirements:
- Expertise in the Wealth and Asset management industry across various asset classes.
- Significant experience in the design, implementation, and/or execution of the Operational Risk Management framework for a large financial institution.
- A seasoned risk professional with a minimum 5 years + of risk management, finance, and/or audit experience.
- Solid understanding of the industry and familiar with the current regulatory environment.
- Proven expertise and knowledge of ORM concepts and practices.
