CNC Machining Operations Specialist

As a CNC Machining Operations Specialist at Johnson Electric, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining automation equipment, including robotic and CNC machines. You will work closely with the production team to ensure that equipment is running efficiently and effectively, and that production targets are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and maintain automation equipment, including robotic and CNC machines
  • Work with the production team to ensure that equipment is running efficiently and effectively
  • Analyze data associated with production equipment and report any inconsistencies
  • Assist with training other production technicians in order to cross-train workers
  • Set up and maintain automated cells, including robots, conveyor, sensors and cylinders
  • Work in compliance with Johnson Electric's Quality Systems, Safety Systems & Environmental Systems

Requirements:

  • A technical degree or diploma in engineering technology or technologist program, or appropriate combination of education & relevant work experience
  • 2 years minimum experience in the operations and set up of high-volume CNC machining applications in a manufacturing environment
  • Certified to automotive systems and quality requirements based on ISO/IATF 16949 Operating Systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
