Job Summary

This part-time (0.66 FTE) Rehabilitation Assistant position is available immediately at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops. The successful candidate will provide coverage until the return of the incumbent and work rotating days from 08:00 to 16:00 hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out rehabilitative treatment plans and programs under the supervision of therapists.
  • Engage patients with regular therapeutic interventions to promote their rehabilitation journey.
  • Contribute to the impact on progression of patient needs and their rehabilitation outcomes.

In this role, you will be an integral member of the rehabilitation team, working closely with therapists and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. You will have opportunities to engage patients in therapeutic activities, support their physical and emotional well-being, and contribute to their overall rehabilitation outcomes.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognized Rehabilitation Assistant Program or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • A valid driver's license.
About This Opportunity

We offer a competitive salary, estimated to be around $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
