About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Madame Ek Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities

Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Estimate Ingredients and Supplies

Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, taking into account seasonal fluctuations and menu changes.

Hire and Train Staff

Hire and train food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they meet the high standards of our restaurant.

Quality Control

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, conducting regular checks and implementing improvements as needed.

Financial Management

Prepare budget and cost estimates, monitoring expenses and identifying areas for cost savings.

Customer Service

Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing a high level of customer service and ensuring that issues are resolved promptly.

Record Keeping

Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely reports to management.

Reporting

Prepare and submit reports, providing insights and recommendations to improve restaurant operations.

Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. Standing for extended periods is required, and the ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment is essential.

Requirements
  • Experience

1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service management role.

Language

Fluency in English is required.

Work Hours

40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts as needed.
