Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Manuel Umoquit. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Job Summary:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
Requirements:
  • Geriatric Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate
Work Environment:
  • Non-smoking environment
  • Room and board provided
  • Work in employer's/client's home
Physical Demands:
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking
  • Handling heavy loads
Security Clearance:
  • Criminal record check
  • Confidential security clearance
  • Basic security clearance
