Job Summary:
Myrowich Staffing Agency is seeking a skilled Agricultural Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and maintenance of our heavy equipment fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, and perform repairs or replacements as needed.
- Adjust equipment to specifications, and perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and performing other maintenance work.
- Keep accurate records and documentation of maintenance activities.
- Order and purchase required parts and shop supplies.
- Perform repair work on heavy trucks and attachments, and service working tools.
- Weld steel components using electric arc and/or MIG welding techniques.
- Safely and effectively operate heavy equipment and farm vehicles.
Requirements:
- The ability and willingness to learn and communicate effectively in English.
- Attention to detail and the ability to properly follow instructions and procedures.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including bending, crouching, and kneeling for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs (45 kg) and handle heavy equipment.
