About the Role

PAPA-GRANT MECHANICAL INC. is seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and Test Electrical Systems: Install underground wiring and cables, splice, join, and connect wires, and test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults, and the integrity of circuits.
  • Troubleshoot and Repair Electrical Issues: Troubleshoot and isolate faults, and conduct preventive maintenance programs to ensure the smooth operation of electrical systems.
  • Read and Interpret Blueprints: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure that electrical systems are installed and maintained correctly.
  • Work Safely and Efficiently: Work safely and efficiently to meet deadlines and ensure that electrical systems are installed and maintained to the highest standards.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Registered Apprenticeship certificate and Electrician Trade Certification.
  • Language and Communication: Fluency in English and excellent communication skills.
  • Work Environment: 40 hours per week, permanent position.
