About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at City South Pizza. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and implement menus that meet the tastes and dietary requirements of our customers, while ensuring profitability and efficiency.

Food Preparation and Presentation

Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Kitchen Operations Management

Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management, supply ordering, and staff training and development.

Quality Control and Assurance

Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.

Staff Training and Development

Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, as well as maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.

Experience

At least 7 months of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen operations.

Skills and Abilities

Excellent culinary skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure. Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train and develop staff.

Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 30 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
