The Role
We are seeking an accomplished academic psychiatrist to lead the UHN Centre of Mental Health as Department Head and Program Medical Director for UHN-CAMH Partnership. As a key strategic leader, you will play a crucial role in advancing mental health care at UHN and increasing collaborative clinical and academic initiatives with CAMH.
Your Responsibilities
- You will work within UHN's Program Matrix model, providing leadership in concert with a Clinical Vice President, other Program Medical Directors, and Clinical Directors.
- You will have primary responsibility for quality and safety in the Centre for Mental Health and dyadic responsibility with the Clinical Vice-President/Clinical Director for Finances and clinical operations.
- You will attend the CAMH Clinical Executive and be responsible for leading integration efforts related to clinical care, education, and research in mental health across CAMH and UHN.
- You will work with CAMH senior leadership, including Clinical Vice-Presidents, Division Chiefs, Medical Directors, to advance the partnership and provide high-quality integrated care for patients and families at both UHN and CAMH.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary range between $200,000 - $400,000 CAD annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. You will also receive benefits that include comprehensive health insurance, retirement savings plans, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
