We are seeking a skilled Bread Baker to join our team at COBS Bread Cambridge North. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of bread products, including pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Bake mixed dough and batters to perfection.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Administer first aid in emergency situations.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
