Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic community-based practice. This part-time to full-time contract position offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of funders, including MCFD, CBIPCY, schools, and parents, to provide home, school, and community-based rehabilitation services for children with autism, brain injuries, and other developmental concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Community-based assessment and implementation of treatment plans to address one or more of ADLs, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, visual perception, and other functional areas.
  • Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Documentation of client progress and communication with funders and caregivers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC).
  • Minimum 1 year of pediatric OT experience, with a strong background in assessment and treatment planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
