Key Responsibilities- Conduct market analyses to identify emerging industry trends, commercial business opportunities, and service offerings within the electricity industry.
- Assist with the execution of the corporate business strategy by working with other business units, including organizing workshops, developing presentation materials, and facilitating the roll-out of strategic initiatives.
- Support the evaluation of potential opportunities through business case development and financial modeling.
- Develop and deliver communications materials for senior executives, including the CEO and Board of Directors.

- Currently in the 3rd year of a Bachelor's degree program in engineering, business, finance, accounting, computer science, or a related field.
- Experience in the electricity industry (power and utilities, renewables, etc.) is preferred, but other experience in related industries such as oil and gas and mining will be considered.
- Experience developing and analyzing financial and strategic models in an asset-intensive industry (preferably electricity but others will be considered).
- Expert-level skills in Excel, including the ability to build financial models and perform analysis.
- Strong proficiency with PowerPoint.
- Understanding of financial statements and electricity industry concepts.
- Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills, including the ability to complete a regression, perform complex modeling, and be statistically literate.
- An innovative and creative mindset, open to looking at things differently and creating value where it may not first appear obvious.
- A strong passion for the electricity industry and energy transition, and a desire to be part of the myriad changes occurring within it.
- Ability to interact effectively with senior management.
