## Family Medicine Opportunity in Rural BC

### Overview

Island Health is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join our team in a rural practice in Port Hardy or Port McNeill. This is an exciting opportunity to provide primary care to patients in a fully owned and operated Island Health facility.

### Key Responsibilities

* Provide longitudinal primary care to patients in the community
* Participate in on-call ER coverage, averaging six to eight shifts per month
* Collaborate with neighboring rural physicians to provide full spectrum Primary Care

### Benefits

* Various remuneration models available, including Fee-For-Service, Longitudinal Family Practice Payment Model, and New to Practice clinical service contract
* Additional monetary incentives, including medical on-call payments

### Work Environment

* Flexible hours, with Primary Care Clinics open Monday-Friday 9 am - 5 pm
* Clinic locations in Port Hardy and Port McNeill
