Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Medical Technician to join our team at Health Careers in Saskatchewan. As a key member of our ambulance service, you will be responsible for responding to emergency and non-emergency calls, providing initial assessment, treatment, and transport of patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls for service
  • Provide initial assessment, treatment, and transport of patients
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements
  • Primary Care Paramedic diploma (PCP)
  • Valid Class 4 driver's license
  • International Trauma Life Support Certificate (ITLS)
  • Registered Emergency Medical Technician/Primary Care Paramedic (EMT/PCP)
  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
Competencies
  • Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications
  • Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics at PCP/EMT level
  • Preference to HSAS members as per the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement
