Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Media Supervisor to join our team at Mediabrands. As a key member of our investment department, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of digital media plans, ensuring seamless workflow, and building strong relationships with internal and external teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed media briefings and plans in collaboration with the planning team
  • Explore and evaluate new media opportunities to present to the planning team
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with media partners and internal/external teams
  • Oversee day-to-day responsibilities of the team, managing multiple timelines and priorities
  • Ensure quality control on various digital assets, including:
    • Digital recommendations
    • Inputs in Media Ocean Buyer Workflow
    • Digital spec sheets and traffic sheets
    • Digital dashboard accuracy
    • Reporting
  • Provide ongoing feedback and training to junior employees to ensure performance and development goals are met
  • Continuously train junior employees on digital technical landscape and concepts
  • Proactively advise the team on any variations to media plan execution
  • Attend media seminars and presentations as required, ensuring junior employees are in attendance and leveraging learnings
  • Participate in hiring and interviewing of junior employees as needed

Requirements

  • Professional or educational background in Marketing or Advertising
  • Mid-to-intermediate level of experience in digital media investment execution and buying
  • Previous experience training junior employees
  • Previous experience working with MediaOcean's Buyer Workflow or similar platforms
  • Experience working in programmatic, social, or adserver platforms (DV360, The Trade Desk, Yahoo, META, LinkedIn, TikTok, CM360, etc.) or with specialized digital units
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen
  • Ability to build strong internal and external relationships and partnerships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly developed organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Time management of different deliverables
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving, supporting the team, self-development, etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
