Culinary Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team at Imperial Sunset Inn Hotel Ltd. as a Kitchen Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards and that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.

• Food Preparation and Service
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the needs of our guests.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
• Team Management
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain high standards.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Inventory and Supplies
  • Order supplies and equipment to maintain inventory levels and ensure that all necessary items are available.
  • Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment to inform purchasing decisions.
• Cleanliness and Maintenance
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in good working order.

• Education
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
• Experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role is required.
• Personal Qualities
  • Client focus and dependability are essential for this role.
  • Flexibility, initiative, and judgement are also required.
  • Organized and reliable, with excellent team player skills.

• 35 hours per week, permanent position.
• English is the primary language of communication.
