Job Summary

The Senior Program Analyst will support the Commission's program planning function to improve the delivery and management of affordable housing programs across the province. This role assumes a leadership position on complex projects, including financial analysis, policy analysis, and the development of recommendations for policy/program alternatives and service delivery options.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead complex analytical research projects, including stakeholder consultations, report preparation, and recommendation development.
  • Conduct public policy analysis, program design/evaluation, and complex financial analysis, particularly in the field of housing or real property.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of provincial housing programs, subsidy models, and supporting resources.
  • Collaborate with staff and external groups to track key deliverables and milestones, and identify key measures of success.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal staff and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in planning, public policy, social sciences, economics, or other related field.
  • Considerable experience in leading complex analytical research projects, public policy analysis, program design/evaluation, or complex financial analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of planning and conducting complex and multi-dimensional projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to present information clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
