Job Summary

The Grounds Person will be responsible for performing scheduled ground maintenance work at our Saskatoon Aggregates location. This role will involve working co-operatively with the Saskatoon Aggregates team and reporting to the Aggregates Production Lead Hand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform manual labor tasks, including handling materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Operate automotive vehicles and small mobile equipment, such as a skid steer, as required.
  • Shovel spillage around conveyors to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ensure the safety of company personnel, the community, and the environment.
  • Identify and communicate product problems and information.
  • Implement Best Practices to improve efficiency and safety.

Accountabilities

  • Ensure safety goals are achieved and comply with all company safety rules.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in an outdoor environment year-round.
  • Positive and proactive attitude towards teamwork and safety.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of general maintenance work.

Additional Requirements
