Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Operating Officer to join our team at Canadian Tire Gas+. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall strategy and direction of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
  • Operational Coordination: Coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments to ensure seamless execution of business objectives.
  • Financial and Administrative Controls: Establish and maintain financial and administrative controls to ensure the integrity of our operations.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Representation: Represent the organization in negotiations and other official functions, ensuring the best interests of Canadian Tire Gas+ are represented.
  • Leadership Development: Select and develop middle managers, directors, and other executive staff to ensure the continued success of our organization.
Requirements
  • Education: A college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a senior leadership role.
