Cardiologist with Cardiac Device Implanting Expertise

Island Health's Department of Cardiology invites a skilled Cardiologist with Cardiac Device Implant specialty training to join our team at NRGH. This position will be part of a well-established Division of Cardiology in Victoria, with opportunities for academic affiliation and teaching through the University of British Columbia, Island Medical Program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive cardiology care, including coverage of the coronary care unit and cardiology wards.
- Participate in on-call responsibilities for Cardiology on Call coverage.
- Manage patients in the local Pacemaker Clinic, with opportunities for device implantation and clinical oversight.
- Collaborate with the affiliated electrophysiology and device management group at the Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria to develop device management expertise.
