About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Care Assistant to join our team at Résidence des Peupliers (2012) inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including taking vital signs, serving meal trays, and maintaining patient rooms.
  • Transport patients safely and efficiently, using wheelchairs or stretchers as needed.
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations and respond to call signals to determine patient needs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Willingness to relocate to a rural area and work in a hospital or home for the aged setting.
  • Certifications: Moving Patients Safety Principles (MPSP) training, First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate.
  • Language: English or French proficiency.
