About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Tailor to join our team at Overseas Fashion & Fabric. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, made-to-measure garments according to customer and manufacturing specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and create custom garments, including suits, dresses, and accessories, using commercial patterns and fabric selection.
  • Operate sewing machines and sew by hand to produce high-quality garments.
  • Fit, alter, and repair garments as required to ensure a perfect fit.
  • Lay out, cut, and sew materials to make hats and other accessories.
  • Select and modify commercial patterns to fit customers' and clothing manufacturers' specifications and fit.
  • Design patterns to fit measurements and create custom designs.
  • Mark, cut, and sew fabric to create high-quality garments.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in tailoring or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabric selection, and pattern making.
  • Excellent sewing skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with customers.
