Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the engineering and quality teams to review customer requirements and produce high-quality components
  • Determine machining strategies and generate CNC programs, machining setup sheets, and tool lists for multi-axis machining systems
  • Develop work-holding strategies and design fixtures for complex geometries
  • Assist the shop floor in following AS91000 requirements with risk analysis and the Root Cause Corrective Action process
  • Improve processes continuously to reduce costs, enhance quality, and increase efficiency

Necessary Qualifications:

  • College diploma or engineering degree in a relevant technical field
  • At least five years of experience in a precision CNC machining environment
  • At least five years of experience in multi-axis CNC programming
  • Proficient in Mastercam software at an expert level
  • Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Proven experience in GD&T and work-holding strategy development
  • AS9100 requirements experience considered an asset
  • Metrology Software Product knowledge regarded as an asset
  • Familiarity with advanced CNC systems with Fanuc controls and Renishaw probing systems considered an asset
  • Aerospace and/or Space industry experience viewed as an asset

Salary Range: $30-40/hr
