About the Opportunity

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is a leading supplier of custom equipment, process systems, and engineering consultant services for the nuclear industry in Canada. We are seeking a skilled Welding Supervisor to join our innovative team, supporting our mission to provide clean energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise welding operations in the Peterborough facility, ensuring that welding is performed by qualified personnel to approved qualified procedures.
  • Manage welding filler materials per ASME Sec III requirements.
  • Verify that welders or brazers are qualified for procedures and positions, and write traceability numbers onto manufacturing process instructions.
  • Read, analyze, and interpret mechanical drawings.
  • Possess working knowledge of layout, fitting, various types of welding techniques, metallurgy, and engineering.
  • Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the trade.
  • Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum using SMAW or GMAW in various positions.
  • Work safely in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a CWB certified welding supervisor.
  • Red seal certified welder required.
