Multi-Specialty Veterinary Technologist Opportunity

Calgary Animal Referral and Emergency Centre, a member of VCA Canada, is seeking a full-time Registered Veterinary Technologist to join our team.

The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills and be compassionate, with the ability to adapt to the needs of clients within various services. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work well within a highly functioning team.

This role will involve starting client appointments, collecting and running or submitting blood samples, and radiographs, as well as learning to perform CT scans, monitoring sedated and anesthetized patients, and maintaining timely and accurate patient records.

Schedule: The schedule for this position will be a 4 x hour shift over the Monday - Friday period, with after-hours on-call anesthesia required once full training is complete.

Applicants must be registered AHT and eligible for registration with AAAHT/ABVMA in Alberta. ABVMA registration must be complete by the first day of employment.
