Senior Estimator

We have successfully completed projects like the Samuel De Champlain Bridge, the Réseau Express Métropolitain (REM), and the Site C hydroelectric power station.
Key Responsibilities:- Review tender documents to determine project scope, milestones, and constraints.
- Assist the Senior or Chief Estimator in developing competitive tenders.
- Build level 1 schedules in MS Project with resources and project milestones.
- Maintain files of working documents as backup for estimate data, including current and accurate information on prices from suppliers.
- Establish and maintain outstanding communications between subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
- Chair internal bid review meetings with EBC's senior management.
Requirements:
- Degree in civil engineering or construction engineering.
- Previous experience in estimating civil construction projects.
- Experience in heavy civil pricing work such as cofferdams, shoring, road construction, bridge rehabilitation, and in-water works.
- Experience using estimating software and systems and capacity to adapt to new estimating software.
- Estimate setup for job costing and job cost analysis of active and completed projects.
