About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Childcare Professional to join our team at Jacquelyn Espinosa.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch care and supervision to infants and children in a home environment. This is a permanent position with a guaranteed 40-hour workweek.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure the physical and emotional well-being of the children, including feeding, bathing, dressing, and administering medications as needed.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks, taking into account any dietary restrictions or allergies.
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment, performing light housekeeping duties and ensuring the children's belongings are organized and easily accessible.
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene practices and social development skills, promoting independence and self-confidence.
  • Keep accurate records of daily activities, meal times, and health information, providing regular updates to parents/guardians.
  • Develop and implement engaging activities and games to stimulate cognitive development and encourage learning.
  • Take the children on outings and excursions, ensuring their safety and enjoyment at all times.
Requirements
  • Secondary school graduation certificate (or equivalent)
  • A minimum of 7 months' experience in childcare or a related field (less than 1 year)

Estimated Salary Range

$35,000 - $45,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
