Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Science Engineer to join our Group Advanced Analytics team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for developing and deploying machine learning models that generate business value across various parts of Société Financière Manuvie.

In this role, you will collaborate with data scientists and engineers to design and implement scalable and efficient machine learning pipelines. You will also evaluate and optimize machine learning models for performance and scalability, deploy them into production, and monitor their performance. Additionally, you will handle data science infrastructure to streamline model development and deployment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with data scientists and engineers to design and implement scalable and efficient machine learning pipelines.
  • Evaluate and Optimize Models: Evaluate and optimize machine learning models for performance and scalability.
  • Deploy Models into Production: Deploy machine learning models into production and monitor their performance.
  • Streamline Model Development and Deployment: Handle data science infrastructure to streamline model development and deployment.
What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for a senior data science engineer with hands-on experience in large-scale systems, operationalizing code through DevOps pipelines, and building data APIs. You should have strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn. Additionally, you should have advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases and SQL.

Azure experience, cloud native architecture, and experience with Azure ML, DataBricks (Spark), and Azure Data Factory are also desirable. If you have experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT-3 or BERT, it would be an asset.
