We are a dynamic organization seeking a detail-oriented and organized Corporate Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our financial department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing valuable insights to support business growth.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks, including financial statement preparation, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. You will also be expected to maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as vendors and auditors.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Maintain general ledgers, journals, and other accounting records.
  • Perform reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management.
  • Collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Professional certification (CPA, CA) an asset.
  • Minimum 7 months of experience in accounting, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
