Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Business Solutions Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the insurance industry and experience in developing and executing User Acceptance Test (UAT) frameworks. This role will involve collaborating with business and IT stakeholders to drive system and process changes, ensuring optimal solutions, quality, and performance.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Execute UAT Frameworks: Create and implement robust UAT frameworks across the insurance business, including Underwriting, Claims, and Finance, with a focus on the Guidewire suite of applications.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to determine whether test strategies meet the appropriate risk thresholds and ensure that testing processes, methodologies, and tools are applied appropriately.
- Provide Test Artifacts and Walkthroughs: Create and deliver test artifacts, including test plans, estimates, and robust test scenarios, and provide walkthroughs to business and IT stakeholders for review and feedback.
- Participate in Post-Implementation Support: Actively participate in the post-implementation support and review phase to ensure that solutions meet business needs and are delivered on time.
- Communicate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with stakeholders in various departments, including IT, Underwriting, Claims, and Finance, to understand business needs and communicate changes to management, team leaders, and trainers.
- Post-Secondary Education: A degree in Business or Information Technology is required.
- Industry Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in the P&C insurance industry is required.
- Technical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong technical acumen are required.
- Language Skills: Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.
