About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Pine Villa Retirement Home. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our residents' living spaces, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of residents' living spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, such as dusting, vacuuming, and polishing furniture and fixtures.
  • Restock linens, toiletries, and other essential items as needed.
  • Assist residents with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, as needed.
  • Provide basic information on facilities and services to residents and visitors.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and move heavy objects, as needed.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field an asset.
