We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at SRA Wainwright Restaurants Ltd. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our staff are well-trained and motivated.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity in the restaurant.
- Recruit and Supervise Staff: Hire, train, and manage a team of staff to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Train Staff: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure that staff have the skills and knowledge they need to succeed.
- Determine Type of Services to be Offered: Develop and implement menus and services that meet the needs of our customers.
- Conduct Performance Reviews: Regularly review the performance of staff and provide feedback and coaching to help them improve.
- Organize and Maintain Inventory: Manage inventory levels and ensure that supplies are ordered and stocked as needed.
- Ensure Health and Safety Regulations are Followed: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed and that the restaurant is a safe and healthy environment for staff and customers.
- Negotiate Arrangements with Suppliers: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure that we are getting the best possible prices and service.
- Address Customers' Complaints or Concerns: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints and concerns.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Windows.
- Security and Safety: Basic security clearance.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
The Restaurant Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of staff. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
