Job Description

HNM Tax & Accounting Inc. is seeking a skilled Bookkeeping and Financial Operations Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to manage various financial tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and general ledger maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process cheques for payroll and other company payments

  • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation

  • Manage financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, and maintain accurate ledgers and financial statements

  • Process journal entries and reconcile accounts

  • Prepare financial reports, including trial balances and statistical analysis

  • Assist in tax preparation and filing

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in accounting or a related field

  • 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping and financial operations

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Proficiency in computerized bookkeeping systems
