About the Role
  • Train and manage a team of over 25 staff members
  • Manage a unionized workforce, including scheduling, resolving downtime and operational issues, and production reporting
  • Enforce Health & Safety standards
  • Familiarity with computers and working within a Continuous Improvement Environment
  • Maintain performance standards for production and quality
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • 1 year supervisory experience in a mass production manufacturing environment
  • Automotive industry experience, preferably with Just in Time knowledge
  • Experience working with Standards, Quality Systems, and 5S environments
  • Toyota experience or training is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Well-organized and able to work as part of a team
