Job Description

As an Aircraft Interior Craftsman at GAL AeroStaff Ltd., you will be responsible for creating high-quality aircraft interior structures using various tools and techniques. You will work closely with our design team to bring innovative ideas to life, ensuring that every project meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

The main responsibilities of this role include:

  • Disassembling and reassembling aircraft interior structures with precision and care.
  • Preparing and applying veneers to harmonize the grain and color of wood.
  • Preparing and applying laminated plastics to achieve desired textures and finishes.
  • Gluing different components together to form seamless joints.
  • Operating various machines to cut, shape, and form parts according to design specifications.
  • Reading plans and executing them accurately to meet deadlines.
  • Making necessary repairs to ensure optimal performance and longevity of aircraft interiors.
  • Designing and manufacturing models, jigs, and assemblies to support production efficiency.
Requirements

To succeed as an Aircraft Interior Craftsman, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Diploma or vocational training in cabinetmaking or a related field.
  • Knowledge of aviation regulations for aircraft interiors (AS9100) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent design skills, including knowledge of principles, tools, and instruments.
  • A keen eye for detail and precision in your work.
