Assistant Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Marché Duchemin et frères inc. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our supermarket/grocery store.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate daily operations and make informed decisions to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Plan and organize daily operations, including staff management and task delegation.
- Manage staff and assign duties to ensure seamless store operations.
- Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale, ensuring high-quality products for our customers.
- Determine staffing requirements and adjust accordingly to meet business needs.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Supervise office and volunteer staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to work under pressure, handle heavy loads, and maintain attention to detail.
- Excellent oral communication skills and ability to multitask.
