Key Responsibilities:- Provide excellent customer service to visitors, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist with animal care duties, including cleaning, feeding, and providing enrichment activities for our animals.
- Participate in adoption matchmaking, working with potential adopters to find the perfect match for their lifestyle and preferences.
- Collaborate with our team to ensure the smooth operation of our shelter, including intake, reclaim, lost/found, and animal care duties.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of animal behavior, body language, and welfare to provide expert advice to potential adopters.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Minimum one year of experience working in a customer service role, preferably in an animal-related field.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
