Job Summary:

The Archery Technician will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and product knowledge to customers in the archery department. This role will involve setting up and servicing compound bows, crossbows, and archery accessories, as well as maintaining a clean and functional archery tech shop.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legendary customer service by assisting customers in making buying decisions and identifying their needs.
• Develop and maintain strong knowledge in all areas of archery, including tuning bows and directing customers on proper shooting and handling techniques.
• Maintain a clean and functional archery tech shop, ensuring visual presentation standards are met.
• Promote Bass Pro Shops & Cabela's programs, including Customer Surveys and In-Store Pick-Up.
• Respond to and handle customer issues using good judgment and logic.
• Demonstrate a passion for the outdoors by maintaining knowledge of trends and emerging technologies related to the outdoor lifestyle.
• Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictate.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of various archery products, including bows, arrows, targets, equipment, and accessories.
• Significant experience with bows, bow setup, tuning, and accessories.
• Two or more years' experience in a sales or service environment is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• A Restricted and Non-Restricted Possession and Acquisition License is an asset.
• Ability to evaluate customers' needs and make recommendations based on needs.
• Ability to provide superior customer service and exceed customers' expectations.
• Ability to use good judgment and logic.
• Experience in a related field or outdoor lifestyle.
• Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops & Cabela's specific products is an asset.
