About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Draftsperson to join our team at SPH Engineering Inc. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating detailed engineering designs and drawings, working closely with our engineers and production specialists to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and functionality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Drafting: Prepare detailed engineering designs and drawings, using software such as AutoCAD and Autodesk REVIT, to bring our products to life.
  • Technical Writing: Write technical reports and specifications to communicate our designs and products to clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our engineering and production teams to ensure that our designs are feasible and meet the needs of our clients.
  • Quality Control: Examine drawings for conformity and errors, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk REVIT, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
