About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Specialist to join our team at 24/7 PLUMBING & HEATING LTD. As a key member of our plumbing team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in various commercial and residential settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Installation: Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Site Preparation: Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Pipe Fitting and Joining: Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings, and join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Testing and Inspection: Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Project Management: Schedule personnel, tools, and equipment, and estimate costs and materials.
  • Quality Control: Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.
Work Environment

You will work in a variety of settings, including commercial and residential locations, and may be required to work in wet or damp environments.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in plumbing.
  • Physical Demands: The role requires physical stamina, including bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime.
