SEO Specialist Job Description

Latched Creative Inc. is a leading marketing agency specializing in Search Engine Optimization for cannabis, hemp, and CBD companies in Canada and the United States.

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic full-time SEO Specialist to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the SEO manager to develop and implement sophisticated SEO strategies
  • Engage with clients through email, Slack, and phone calls
  • Create insightful SEO reports and optimization documents
  • Implement on-page and technical SEO optimizations
  • Develop search-data driven content strategies and manage content writers
  • Clean up Google Search Console and Page Speed Insights errors on client websites
  • Conduct SEO research using Ahrefs
  • Identify opportunities for off-page SEO (link building)
  • Utilize various SEO tools, including Screaming Frog, Majestic, SurferSEO, and Moz
  • Manage SEO dashboards, roadmaps, and tasks on project management tools

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in an SEO agency setting
  • Excellent written and spoken English ability
  • Experience using Ahrefs and Surfer SEO platforms
  • Experience with project management tools
  • Experience in the cannabis industry
  • Experience with e-commerce SEO
