Job Title: Compassionate Caregiver - Nursing Support

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team at Spring Living. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our patients, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Taking patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Serving meal trays and feeding patients as needed.
  • Delivering messages, reports, requisitions, and specimens between departments.
  • Maintaining patient rooms, including making beds and keeping areas clean.
  • Supervising patients' exercise routines and promoting physical activity.
  • Maintaining inventory of supplies and ordering new stock as necessary.
  • Bathing, dressing, and grooming patients with dignity and respect.
  • Transporting patients between care facilities in a safe and timely manner.
  • Assisting patients with daily living activities, such as bathing and dressing.
  • Preparing patients for surgery by washing, shaving, and sterilizing operative areas.
  • Providing first aid in emergency situations and responding to patients' needs promptly.

Certifications and Qualifications:
A Health Care Aide Certificate is required for this role. Additionally, we are looking for candidates with excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently, and a strong attention to detail.

Work Environment:
This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to maintain a high level of energy and focus throughout your shift.
