We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our team at a long-term care and rehabilitation facility in Edmonton. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure all department areas and public spaces are clean and well-maintained
  • Stock and manage cleaning supplies
  • Dispose of garbage and bio-hazardous waste
  • Sterilize and disinfect equipment according to health and safety protocols
  • Perform regular cleaning tasks and special assignments as needed
  • Interact positively with residents, staff, and visitors
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stretch, and move heavy objects
  • Knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies
  • Desire to provide quality care and service
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team
  • Agreement to undergo a vulnerable sector check as part of the hiring process
