Job Summary

Manpower Services Canada Limit is seeking a skilled Transport Truck Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial transport trucks, including adjustments, replacements, and testing of parts and components.
  • Inspect and diagnose mechanical issues to identify faults and malfunctions, and implement effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless maintenance operations and meet customer expectations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with customers and providing detailed reports on work performed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and maintain a high level of technical expertise through ongoing training and professional development.
Requirements
  • Red Seal Endorsement in Truck and Transport Mechanic.
  • 2-3 years of experience in heavy-duty mechanics, with a focus on engine repair and commercial transport trucks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
