Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Site Cleaner to join our team at Marz Trauma & Restoration Services Inc. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers to prevent litter and maintain a clean site.
  • Specialized Tasks: Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and visually appealing environment.
  • Repairs and Maintenance: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Physical Labor: Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies to maintain a safe and organized site.
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Environmental Safety: Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants to prevent environmental hazards.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
