Cold Iron Truck Center Inc. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Load and unload goods, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Obtain special permits and documents required for international routes.
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks, maintaining a high level of vehicle condition and inspecting tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle, performing pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods, adhering to strict safety protocols.
Requirements:
  • AZ class license and Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Driver logbook, inspection report, maintenance and repair reports, and trip reports.
  • Experience with flatbed, refrigerated, and tractor-trailer equipment.
  • Local, long-haul, and short-haul transportation experience.
  • Driver's validity license check, driving record check, and medical exam.
