About the Role



We are seeking an experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dairy Queen. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Schedule Management: Establish efficient schedules to meet the needs of our customers, taking into account peak hours and seasonal fluctuations.
  • Staff Supervision: Oversee the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and training as needed to maintain the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Training and Development: Train new staff members in their job duties, emphasizing the importance of sanitation and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to deliver on our promises.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and services meet our stringent quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a courteous and timely manner, reflecting positively on our brand.
  • Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future decision-making.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, inventory, and other key metrics to inform business strategy.


Work Environment and Physical Demands:



This is a fast-paced environment requiring a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. Prolonged standing may be required during busy periods.
