Job SummaryWe are looking for a motivated and experienced professional to support our growing GTHA-based team. As a Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer/Geoscientist, you will be responsible for managing Phase I/One and II/Two Environmental Site Assessments, Remediations, Excess Soil Management, Landfill Monitoring, and other contaminated sites work.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee environmental projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Provide senior review and Qualified Person (O.Reg. 153/04 and 406/19) services on various projects.
- Engage with clients, government agencies, and regulatory bodies to ensure effective project delivery.
- Supervise and mentor junior and intermediate Scientists and Engineers.
- Prepare technical specifications, reports, and approval packages for Record of Site Conditions (RSC), Environmental Compliance Approvals (ECA), etc.
- Promote and oversee compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Post-Secondary University education in Geosciences, Geological, Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- 10 years of demonstrated geosciences consulting experience, including project management and client communications.
- P.Geo or P.Eng, registered in the Province of Ontario and/or Nationally and in good standing.
- Proven experience writing winning proposals and executing on those projects.
- Knowledge of key provincial regulations, protocols, and industry standards for practice.
