Job Summary

Richter is a leading Business and Family Office that provides strategic advice on business matters and personal objectives across generations. As a Tax Associate, Canadian Core, you will be part of a team of seasoned professionals recognized for their expertise in tax planning and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review large corporate tax returns and identify planning opportunities.
  • Prepare special tax forms (branch tax returns, Regulation 105, T2057, etc.)
  • Identify tax issues, interpret and apply tax laws.
  • Prepare planning notes.
  • Support managers and partners in the implementation of tax planning.

Requirements

  • CPA or lawyer or CICA In-Depth Tax Course or a Master of Tax in progress.
  • Proven problem-solving capabilities, including ingenuity, analytical skills, and creativity.
  • Exceptional technical skills and attention to detail.
  • Computer proficiency, including MS Outlook, Word, Excel, TaxPrep, TaxnetPro/CCH or similar tax research software.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to organize, prepare, and clearly present information to clients and team.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional client service.
